Put the money where my mouth is.

So this woman walks into a bike shop. She's just looking for a new bike seat, one that won't give her deadbutt. While she's there, somehow it comes out that she intends to ride all the state bike trails in Wisconsin.

She has no idea what all this entails. But, she said it in front of the guys that hang out in the bike shop, so now she has to do it.

Me and my big mouth. And so the State Bike Trail Project begins: Trail Behind. Each completed trail is one behind me. No "behind" jokes, please.

  1. What an awesome goal! I love the photography. And, hey! Is that a view of the "my" backyard, the one that I so desired in Irvington? By the time you finish all the trails in Wisconsin, you will look like a real "biker babe" - just not the Harley type. I look forward to your upcoming tour descriptions, and fabulous fall photos. HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU! Kathy

  2. Thanks! No, that's a photo of the "weeping wall" which appears before Irvington. Does look similar though. What a backyard! "Visit my backyard! Just drop in!" As to how in shape I get........remains to be seen.

  3. I may have been in the shop for that comment. Glad to see you're sticking with it. I've always been a fan of the Wisconsin trail system, and its rural roads. I'm always glad to see someone out there cycling and enjoying it as much as I do.

Stop back in the shop if there's anything we can help you out with, or just to update us in person once in a while.
    :)
    Have fun and goodluck!
